Thanksgiving: November 23 – November 27
Winter Break: December 21 – January 4
Spring Break: March 22-26
Memorial Day: May 31
Annual Dance Recital - Saturday June 5, 2021

Classes are held on all other Monday holidays and schools' Teacher in-service days
Tuition Fees are due on a monthly basis, not weeks per month.
Monthly weeks vary from 3-5 throughout the year.

Tuition Structure
Fees are paid on a monthly basis (October-May). Classes are only prorated the first month you start. Some months are shorter or longer and balance out throughout the dance session year. Tuition & the annual registration fee is $15.00 for new students $10 for each additional family member and $10.00 for all returning students. Payment is due at the time of registration along with your tuition. If you have a coupon, promotion, or discount please write information or code in NOTE field when registering.

Tuition payments
When are Tuition payments due?

Payments are due the 1st of the tuition month.

The first payment will include the registration fee and the first month of class upon enrollment

We accept credit card or check bank/debit cards.

All account Credit cards on file will be transacted on autopay on the 1st each month.

We are no longer taking cash, checks or money orders for tuition.
Registration fees paid are not refundable. Please contact the office with any questions on the required tuition auto pay for this season.
Annual Dance Recital tentatively set for June 5.2021
Students performing will need to purchase a costume $50-$70

​Costume Fees
All students participating in the Annual Dance Recital will need costumes. The cost per class is $60.00 for child sizes (2t - med child) and $70.00 (child size large - adult). Please let the office know if you are unable to participate in the annual recital. All Costume deposits are non-refundable after costume has been ordered. You will receive your costume when it arrives.

Adding or Dropping a Class
In the interest of keeping tuition accounts up-to-date and accurate, students who wish to add/drop a class from which they are registered must fill a "Class withdrawal/Class Addition Form, in the office" or parents will be responsible for full tuition payments. Upon enrolling you are committing to 3 months of classes. If you withdraw early you will still need to pay the 3 months tuition expectations are medical and moving out of state.

Classroom size
Classes with less than 4 students enrolled are subject to cancellation or suggested transfer to another class. Classes with more than 12 students are subject to being split into 2 classes. We will contact you to discuss your options on class changes.

Arrival and Departure - Look at COVID page
Pat Harris Dance Studio cannot provide supervision for students outside of class. Students are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before their class begins and picked up immediately after their class is over. I understand that for safety reasons employees will not take students home. If your child may need assistance, ask them to please remain in the studio and ask a staff member for help. Due to safety concerns, students are not to be dropped off and picked up at the curb. Please park and walk your child into and from the studio inside building.

Classroom Etiquette
COVID-19- NO Food or Drinks in the studio building. A Water Bottle is recommended to be filled at home. The water fountain will be closed. No touching, hugging during Covid
No foods, drinks, gum or street shoes are allowed in the studio rooms (Please bring a Water bottle) Respect your teachers, classmates, studio staff and be considerate of others feelings. Inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Positive attitudes are more productive. Smile, listen, learn and have fun!

Class Observation
COVID-19- No parents, siblings allowed in the studio buildings with the exception of age 3-5 , just until you and your child feel relaxed with the studio environment .
(1 Parent or Guardian is allowed, no siblings, mask required, social distancing 6ft) During Covid
Parents are allowed to observe classes periodically by teacher’s discretion. We ask parents to observe classes from the waiting room viewing windows. Please do not entering a studio room during class. Our instructors will be happy to answer questions before and after classes in the waiting room. Feel free to speak with the office if you have an immediate question.

Makeup Classes
Students who miss a class may have an opportunity to make it up with a similar class. Please check with the office to determine the best makeup class for your child. Tuition does not change in the event of missed classes or Holiday breaks.

Dress Code
All students must wear appropriate dance attire and shoes while in each class. Please refer to our "Dress Code" for specific attire/shoes/hair for each class.
Fundraising
We offer fundraising opportunities during the year. Earnings can be used for tuition, costume costs, studio dance supplies or you can donate it to the scholarship fund to help children with that can otherwise not afford to dance. Fundraiser money cannot be cashed out. All unclaimed funds after 18 months will automatically be transferred to the student scholarship fund.

Weather Snow Closure
The Studio’s will close classes in accordance with Boise Schools. We will send out a Text and you can visit our website, Facebook page, or call our phone messaging system for up-to-date information concerning studio closings. 208-375-3255 The Director will make a decision on studio closings by 2:00pm and an e-mail or text will be sent to your student account.

Medical Information
Parents must notify the Director and teachers regarding children who require an inhaler or other medications during their time at Pat Harris Dance Studio. Please inform us if your child has special medical needs. All information about our students is kept confidential. Please update us with any changes.

Parent Responsibility
The Dance Studio goes to great lengths to keep you informed and up-to-date. The following communication tools are available to you Email, Phone, Website, Studio Bulletin Board, Studio handouts, Office Staff. Remaining informed is a parent’s responsibility as well.

Class Withdrawal
If you wish to withdraw your student from a class, 14 days’ notice is required, and you must come into the studio to complete the withdrawal form or print it online and bring to the main office. You will be responsible for full payments until such time as the form is received in the office. Any payments previously collected are forfeited and will not be refunded or prorated.

Code of Behavior
Students and parents are expected to respect and willingly abide by all rules the studio. If a student or parent slanders students or staff, they will be dismissed immediately. Failure to adhere to studio policies by parents or students may result in enrollment being revoked and forfeiture of all previously paid fees.
Positive attitudes and happiness is conducive to a higher level of learning and over all development..

Termination of Enrollment
In certain circumstances, when it is in the best interest of one or more students, it may be necessary for the school to terminate a student’s enrollment. Reasons for termination of enrollment include the following: Disruptive or dangerous behavior by students or their parents, bullying, abuse of any child or adult, staff, or school property. Parent/Student behavior such as gossiping, voicing dissatisfaction with the dance studio or its staff in any type of manner in the studio, public or on-line.

Social Media Clause
Ensure that your social networking conduct is consistent with our studio policies.

Cell Phone Policy
No cell phones or computers may be used during class time. (This includes texting).

Food Policy - No food or drinks , except water during COVID
Water is allowed in the studio rooms. No food, drinks or gum.

Respectful Behavior Towards Instructors , Staff Members, Other Parents or Students
is Expected @ All times
