Our Hope For You
Every studio has a different personality which develops from the philosophical framework from which they teach. In a low stress environment we employ family-friendly methods to build confidence in young people through teaching them correct technique first — then like stacking blocks, we keep challenging their bodies and minds to perform steps they never thought possible! One of our favorite events of the dance season is our winter performance at the Idaho Veterans Home.
We are an multi award winning studio dedicated to teaching classical core technique and sharing the love and benefits of dance. Dance instills creativity, self-confidence, individuality and a healthy active lifestyle. Our dance program is a progressive dance technique of a combination of ballet, tap, tumbling for younger students and progressive development lessons for older students. As a PHDS student, each year you will be challenged to continue your growth in a fun, invigorating way with progressive class structure of advancement. With having a strong foundation of technique in dance, making the transition for other activities such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, contemporary, sports, skiing, soccer, musical theater, gymnastics, dance team and a wide variety of other activities as well as motor skill are enhanced. We call this "a well rounded technical dancer".
